Raidco Kerala Ltd. aims to achieve a business target of Rs 350 crores in the coming year. During a recent meeting to review the 2023-24 performance and plan future actions, various projects were finalized to help reach this goal.
The company is focusing on diversification and innovation to overcome challenges and improve efficiency. To make Raidco products available in every household in Kerala and create 10,000 jobs, Raidco operates with 95 percent government share capital, 25 branches, and four manufacturing units across all districts. A curry powder factory in Mavilayi and an agro machinery unit in Port Blair, Andamans, are already operational.
Raidco aims to provide quality machinery, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to farmers at affordable prices. Raidco already has food processing and cooperative medical stores. As an accredited agency for waste management approved by the local government, Raidco plans to expand its operations statewide.
Chairman M. Surendran presented these new goals and vision at a meeting held at Kannur Jawahar Library Hall. CEO V. Ratheesan explained the plan with Vice Chairman V. Dineshan presiding. Directors Komala Lakshmanan, E.K. Ayesha, P. Narayanan, District Information Officer E.K. Padmanabhan, and Marketing Manager Minnush R. Ramesh also spoke. The meeting also congratulated students who excelled in various examinations.
